Inverness Community Church
We are a lively bunch of folks who practice simple church according to Jesus' instructions in John 13:35:
By this all people will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.
Family is dear to God's heart and we enjoy expressing church in a similar fashion: a diverse collection of people who choose to commit to one another, following Jesus, enjoying genuine friendship together, supporting one another, and reflecting what Jesus is doing out into our communities. We meet together in homes, coffee shops and even pubs at various times of day throughout the week: there's sure to be something for you!
We especially enjoy meeting together on Sunday afternoon above Mojo's Bar in Inverness City Centre where we can share inspiring stories, pray together, enjoy lively and spiritual worship, and, most important of all, deepen our relationship with Jesus through reading the Bible with Him. If you're new to us then why not start here? We'd love to see you! (Or if you prefer more traditional styles of church then we work with lots of local churches and we will be pleased to introduce you.)
The church is led by Mark and Sue Hadfield who are passionate about revealing the heart of Jesus into the community, helping people of all ages to connect with true spirituality, and healthily expressing the longing for adventure that God created within each one of us. So you'll also find Mark and Sue heading-up Inverness Street Pastors, and working together with others offering things like healing, and even dream interpretation, out on the streets and in local pubs and coffee shops.
You can contact Mark and Sue by phoning 01463 243603, , or follow Mark on Twitter or on Facebook.
We hope to see you soon!
